Be My Valentine: Biscuit Workshop

Join us for a valentine themed cookie-decorating workshop, just in time for the big day. Whether you want a customised edible gift, or treat for someone you love to experience, our workshop is suitable for all abilities. With a nod to St Valentine, think love birds and letters (no tat don’t worry), this is ideal for those special gifts.

Expect a relaxed evening in our cosy, twinkling, yurt, learning how to make your own beautifully iced biscuits in this hands-on workshop. Experienced chef Shannon Colman from ‘Teacups and Tandems’ will take you through the fundamentals of icing, flooding and perfecting your biscuits, as you decorate your sweet-treats!

Sip on prosecco (non-alcoholic alternative also available) as you ice. Delicious seasonal canapés handmade in our Wild Strawberry Cafe will also be served throughout the evening. You will take home a box filled with your 5 biscuity creations, as well as recipes, icing-tips and new-found confidence!

Shannon is an experienced chef and biscuiteer. She trained at Leiths School of Cookery and went on to work on super yachts before going freelance. She now works at the Wild Strawberry Cafe as well as running her business ‘Teacups and Tandems’, Shannon specialises in making bespoke iced biscuits and stunning wedding and celebration cakes.
