If you haven’t had a gander at Chilterns Food Magazine yet, you’re seriously missing out! A new venture launched earlier this year, this is the go-to magazine for foodies living in the Chilterns. The magazine is all about celebrating local, seasonal food and the abundance of producers we are lucky enough to have here in the Chilterns. Headed up by Hugh Collins, a food and travel writer with experience in publishing and marketing, the online magazine is already on it’s fifth issue and off to a great start.
The magazine is all about championing local producers and fabulous restaurants, but also encouraging readers to minimise the miles from farm-to-fork by shopping locally and using the numerous seasonal recipes included every month. Hugh has roped in one of our own, Katy Brill who runs the Wild Strawberry Cafe as Assistant Editor, as well as a team of food writers and stylists all based locally and with one thing in common: a passion for the Chilterns and the quintessential beauty, bountiful farmland and amazing food it produces.
In each issue, you will discover seasonal recipes, the latest foodie news and goings-on, interviews and features on local producers and artisans. And if you take a look at the blog, you’ll find additional and exclusive content.
The December issue is a bumper edition: including a producer profile on Potash Farm (Tring), the suppliers of our incredible free-range chickens and also this year’s turkeys.
